Dr. William Blatz Children's Library
Welcome to the Jackman ICS Library! All of the students spend at least a half an hour per week at the library. It is a special place with a calming atmosphere. There are many different types of books at our library: poetry, novels, biographies, legends, picture books, and information books for all levels of reading and understanding. With our collection, we aim to reflect the diversity of our world, showcase exemplary works by Canadian authors and illustrators, include current selections, and support the development of all literacy skills for a wide variety of readers.
A beautiful video created by Queen’s University B. Ed. Student, Julia, who did a teaching placement with Raadiyah in our Library. The video is a snapshot of the JICS Library program and the clubs that operate in it. Thank you to Julia for her amazing work!
